We have just released an exciting new application to the Android Market:
LED Flash and Vibrate Notifier

LED Flash and Vibrate Notifier uses your camera LED to inform you about missed notifications. It works perfect on all cell phone. It is especially useful if your phone does not have a notification LED (like all Samsung phones).
Instead of other solutions (like BLN), LED Flash and Vibrate Notifier does not need any special requirements like a custom kernel or root privileges.
See more about LED Flash and Vibrate Notifier here.
You can find LED Flash and Vibrate Notifier at the android market:
We have just released a new Version of RemoteSMS Pro.
First of all:
If you are using the USB-Connector for RemoteSMS Pro, please update to the latest version here.
We recently added an auto-reconnect feature to the connector.
Also, the Web-GUI will automatically try to reconnect if the connection is lost (every 10s). So you don’t have to accept the connection lost dialog anymore. This is the case for all connection types (USB, Bluetooth or Wifi).
We also added a nice new feature to RemoteSMS Pro: Autostart #3.
You will find it in the settings of RemoteSMS. Place your home Wifi-Network Name (SSID) in it, and RemoteSMS will automatically start itself as soon as you are connected to your home Wifi-Network.
In the recent version of RemoteSMS Free, we enhance the functionality of it.
Besides WiFi access, it is now also possible to also use it via USB and Bluetooth.
We felt the need to add this for our customers in order to also try out these connection methods before (hopefully) buying the Pro Version of RemoteSMS.
Recently, we were asked why RemoteSMS Pro needs so many Permissions.
So here are the Permissions of RemoteSMS Pro explained in detail (also applies partly to all other apps from ct-designs):
| Permission | Explanation |
| android.permission.INTERNET | Permission is needed to start the Webserver of RemoteSMS Pro |
| android.permission.READ_CONTACTS | This is needed for showing you your contacts and contacts groups on the Webinterface of RemoteSMS Pro |
| android.permission.READ_SMS | RemoteSMS Pro needs this permission for accessing your SMS History |
| android.permission.WRITE_SMS | This is needed in order to delete messages or mark them as read |
| android.permission.SEND_SMS | In order to be actually able to send new Messages from the webinterface this Permission is needed. |
| android.permission.WAKE_LOCK | This permission is needed to avoid the phone going into sleep mode when the screen is turned off and thus slowing things rapidly down. |
| android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE | This permission enables RemoteSMS to read your phone-number and/or your IMEI. This is needed in order for the Android LVL to work (mainly copy-protection). |
| android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE | RemoteSMS Pro caches all HTML code and contact pictures/data on your external sd-card in order to speed things up. Also, this enables you to modify the HTML code of the webpages used and to create your own RemoteSMS Pro Templates. |
| android.permission.BLUETOOTH | Permission needed in order to start the Bluetooth Webserver. |
| android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE | This is needed to display the IP of your phone (the URL you connect to). |
We encourage you to always contact our support first if you have any questions or problems.

A new version of RemoteSMS Full has just been released.
We have massively improved the performance when using a Bluetooth Connection.
Please also update your Bluetooth Connector to the latest version (Bluetooth Connector v2).
The old connector is not working anymore with RemoteSMS Version 6.9 and upwards.
You can tell if you are using the latest Bluetooth Connector by seeing “v2″ in the title:

There were also a couple of bugfixes which you can see in the Changelog.
RemoteSMS 6.8.9.4 has just been release. Besides the usual bugfixes, there is also one new feature available, the Signal and Battery Strength Indicator.
You will notice the two images at the upper right corner of RemoteSMS:

The indicators will automatically update themselves every 20s.
Also, the corresponding actions of the connection lost dialogue has been slightly changed. The reconnect will now take place via ajax in the background (no complete page reload anymore).
Today, we release a new version of RemoteSMS (Full).
We fixed some issues regarding to display bugs in Internet-Explorer 8/9 and also solved a numbering parsing bug.
Along with these bugfixes, RemoteSMS Full got a new (and so far unique) feature when sending mass SMS:
