RemoteSMS Full 6.8 released

Today, RemoteSMS Full 6.8 has been released. We continued on what we have started in the previous release: Taking RemoteSMS Full to a whole new level by making excessive use of ajax.
The whole interface is now “floating” and can be dragged and resized. As always, you can read the complete changelog in our Changelog Section.

In this post we want to discuss some (2) common issues users might have while using the new version of RemoteSMS.

  • Where is the “answer in thread” reply-box?
    Well, it’s gone ;) But don’t worry, just use the normal reply box. You don’t have to type in the recipient manually. Just click on one of the red boxes you see in the following picture.
  • Long messages are separated into single messages.
    To be honest, this is not a new “feature”, but frequently asked. We kindly invite you to read our faq to get this mystery solved :-)

    Hallo liebes Support Team.

    Ich wollte gestern – und gerade vorhin nochmals – über eine Visa Kreditkarte Ihr Android Programm “RemoteSMS full” um Euro 1,99 kaufen, bekomme aber auch nach dem 8. Anlauf nur die Meldung: “Kreditkarte wird gespeichert” und danach “Achtung ein Serverfehler” ist aufgetreten. Versuchen Sie es erneut, oder brechen sie ab und kehren Sie zum vorherigen Bildschirm zurück.”

    Mit “Erneut versuchen” dreht man sich im Kreis mit “Abbrechen” spart man zwar Geld, bekommt aber auch keine Ware ;-)

    Übrigens hat weder der Versuch mit einer “American Express” Card noch der Versuch über WLAN oder einer A1-Mobilkom Datenleitung noch der Versuch das Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 aus und wieder einzuschalten weiter geholfen. (Surfen im Internet funktioniert natürlich :-) )

    Ich weiß schon dass das Problem nicht bei Ihnen sondern bei Google liegt. Schade, ich glaube Ihr Programm ist die beste Lösung am Markt.

    The answer in thread box was a million times better. Way more convenient. I don’t like this update.
